I just love this color. It is Sweet Mint, by Valspar. I bought it a while back when I just could not walk by the display of little paint samples at Lowe’s without grabbing some! I “picked” this little plant stand from a friend’s stash. So cute, but missing her drawer, she was in need of some TLC. I took her apart and reglued the joints as she had a little wobble. Sanded, painted with Sweet Mint, stenciled and now awaiting a couple of coats of poly. I added a little faux front, covering the space for the missing drawer. Stenciling seems to be coming back into style, but in a softer, more muted fashion, so this piece seemed perfect for that. I got out my trusty Silhouette and bought this lovely stencil from the online store http://www.silhouetteamerica.com. As I always do when making a piece to sell, I bought the commercial right to use the design. She has found her new home, but will be at the cabin at the Market for a short time on Saturday.
Thank you so much for the feature Andrea!! Featured at http://www.thecottagemarket.com!
