American West…

WP_20140718_004

I have a weakness for all sizes and shapes of crates. I got this one and then realized when I got it home that it had graphics on the bottom. Well, of course the bottom became a top! I screwed some boards on the bottom and added some wheels. Next I added a crosspiece to connect those boards for a little more strength. Lastly I used some Walnut stain to give it an aged look. It’s now a pretty cool western themed, rolling end table. I am really not sure what it was used for, the only thing I can think of is a small saddle?? If you have an idea, I’d love to hear it!

    • Thanks, I found out what it was from too, not as romantic sounding as a saddle, though…..leather purses. I still love it though!
