Armoire to entry way piece

WP_20141109_001[1]    This was the back to an armoire.  I bought five of them, with no real plan, but I was sure I could do something with them.  They were older, and had been salvaged from a shop that had been turning old armoires into china cabinets.  I used brackets attached to the front and back of the bottom of the piece to stabilize it.  I loved these legs that were actually to a dining room table, but the legs were the only part of the table I really liked.  I attached them to the armoire back with brackets.  The table top came from the pile my husband left when he ran into my “stuff” last summer.  I stained it all a dark walnut and added hooks for hanging light weight objects, like hats.
