Ok, so besides just the challenge of working with old windows, there is the challenge of taking pictures without the glare….I am photographically challenged, lol. I love repurposing windows. Obviously not enough insulation to use for most things now, they can still be repurposed in so many ways. I cleaned this window and used some Liquid Nails around the edges of the panes where the old caulk had chipped away. I added this small piece of maple for a shelf, then used Danish Oil in Walnut on it all. That darkens the chippy places in the wood, and gives it a richer color. This would look great on a wall. You can put photos behind the glass, pretty items on the shelf and write a note to your loved ones on the chalkboard. This will be at the Christmas Bazaar!
