This window was nice to work with. It was very sturdy. I cleaned it, made a small repair, sanded it and it was ready for painting with my homemade chalk(not to be confused with chalkboard) paint. I had these brackets, and I used some reclaimed wood for an over-the-window shelf. The addition of hooks make it even more useful. I can see this on a wall, where you may like to have a window, but don’t, maybe in an entry way. You could put family photos behind the glass, hang picture frames from the hooks, and put pictures on the shelf above. There are lots of possibilities, which is why I love these window projects. This will be at the bazaar on December the 6th.
