Santa Please Stop Here!

WP_20141128_002[1]    I had been thinking about making one one of these signs for a while.  I took a look around and found this wooden piece.  I honestly have no idea what it is!  At first I thought it was a head or foot board for a bed, but there was no place for side rails.  I also wanted the sign to be weatherproof, so someone could put it on their porch if they wanted.  After cleaning, sanding and painting with oil based paint, I added some shelf brackets that I had for feet, so that it would stand on it’s own.  I pulled out my Silhouette and made some letters and some really cute snowflakes.  After applying them, I coated it all with Rain Coat, and added 8 hooks to hang stockings on.  This will be at the Holiday Bazaar at the High School in Delta next Saturday, Dec. 6th.  Hope to see you there!!!
