A little rustic lantern

WP_20150122_005[1]    The Festival of Lights Galleria is coming up on Feb 14th.  RESCUE REHAB will have a booth and between my big projects, I am working on some small ones.  I have an entire box of these wooden sticks that I used on the corners of the lantern.  I have no idea what the were supposed to be used for.  I found them at a pick I went on and I liked the idea of having a box full to play around with.  I put the lantern together using my new nail gun.  I drilled some holes on top for the rope handle and painted it to look a bit weathered with a beachy mix of minty green and white.  The log slice has a bit of sparkle and a hollowed out space for a battery operated tea light.  Hope to see you at the Galleria!
